Upcoming Matt Cantu EP to Feature Five Adult Swim Covers
A few weeks ago on Fan Art Fridays, we unveiled our first “Music Art” in the form of musician Matt Cantu’s cover of the original Aqua Teen Hunger Force theme, made famous by rapper Schoolly D. Personally, I thought the cover was fantastic, and invoked a bit of Mick Gordon (musician of Doom (2016)/Eternal fame… or infame?)
A couple of days ago, Matt unveiled cover art for his upcoming EP (that’s right folks, a full blown one) titled [after hours]. The EP features not just ATHF, but four of the original five Adult Swim shows (Sealab 2021, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, and the Brak Show) as well as the Boondocks, all covered.
