Brendon Small, co-creator of both Home Movies and Metalocalypse, just announced a new project – an album called Galaktikon.

Small says of the album “This album should be thought of as an audio comic book, an over acted chamber drama, a ridiculous premise that takes itself way too seriously all the way to the end.

This is a thing Dethklok fans should definitely be looking forward to, as Brendon Small is writer and performer of all the band’s music.

The album will be released in April, 2012 to coincide with the premier of the 4th season of Metalocalypse. The album art, featuring some beautiful and over-the-top sci-fi imagery, can be seen below.
