This weekend marks one year since we last saw Tim and Eric on [adult swim] — Depending on what end of the T&E love/hate spectrum you’re on, that could be looked at as either good news or bad. Regardless, around this time last year, we heard rumblings about a feature-length Tim and Eric film titled “Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie.”

This week, T&E released a teaser for said film on Funny or Die. Here’s the synopsis provided:

Tim and Eric are given a billion dollars to make a movie, but squander every dime… and the sinister Schlaaang corporation is pissed. Their lives at stake, the guys skip town in search of a way to pay the money back. When they happen upon a chance to rehabilitate a bankrupt mall full of vagrants, bizarre stores and a man-eating wolf that stalks the food court, they see dollar signs—a billion of them.

The film will include Awesome Show regulars such as Jeff Goldblum, Zach Galifianakis, Will Ferrell, and (of course) John C. Reilly. In addition, many other celebs as well as the weird and absurd characters you’ve come to know.  The movie is currently set for theaters (possibly limited release) on March 2nd, 2012 with a Video-On-Demand release on January 27th, 2012.
