I must say, welcome back NTSF! Strong S3 opener… I liked how they played on SDCC (for the second time, the first being last seasons’ episode “Comic-Con-flict.”) I have to say, I was surprised when I watched the screener for this ep a few weeks ago that Summer Glau was portraying a character that didn’t lack emotions (almost mistook her for someone else.) I also didn’t realize at first that Karen Gillan’s character was replacing Rebecca Romjin’s Jessie… but I’m okay with a cute redhead taking over for a blonde.
The episode itself was great. I loved the bickering couple (Horatio Sanz and Natasha Lyonne) amongst the various Comic-Con Terrorists. Piper getting drunk and medicated for a 30 minute flight to “Nick Cannon Maximum Penitentiary,” lulz. Also the fact that the main terrorist’s (Lo Truglio,) master weapon was an iPhone with “Airplane Mode” turned off. And of course, let’s not forget Kove’s want of pushing the detonator. Great episode.
I seriously can’t wait to see the next episode… even though I probably already saw it. 🙂
