Adult Swim is keeping its spring programming lineup lively with the return of My Adventures with Superman, officially landing on Toonami June 13 at midnight ET/PT (Next day on HBO max). And timing‑wise, it couldn’t be cleaner: Jack Quaid is coming off the series finale of The Boys and heading straight back into the cape for a third season of one of Toonami’s most dependable late‑night anchors. Every time MAwS comes back around, it feels like Adult Swim reminding everyone that action‑animation doesn’t need to be gritty or cynical to hit — it just needs to be sharp, sincere, and well‑made. This show has been all three since day one.

Season three keeps leaning into the coming‑of‑age angle that’s made the series stand out, with Quaid leading a cast that treats Clark, Lois, Jimmy, and now Kara Zor‑El as actual twenty‑somethings trying to figure out their lives while also dealing with the small complication of Kryptonian destiny. It’s Daily Planet hustle meets emotional chaos meets superhero escalation, and according to Adult Swim, this season goes bigger — sharper action, bigger swings, and the kind of character‑driven storytelling Toonami fans actually stay up for. The show has always thrived on balancing sincerity with spectacle, and season three looks ready to push both further.

Really excited to see how this next chapter lands, especially with the series digging deeper into its found‑family dynamic and the tension between settling down and stepping up. Below, you’ll find the full synopsis, cast details, and everything Adult Swim released about the upcoming season.

ARRIVE ON ADULT SWIM JUNE 13

BURBANK (April 30, 2026) – The coming-of-age story about the iconic DC Super Hero, My Adventures with Superman, returns to Adult Swim for its third season the evening of Saturday, June 13 at midnight ET/PT as part of its Toonami anime/action block, next day on HBO Max.

From Warner Bros. Animation and headlined by Jack Quaid (The Boys), My Adventures with Superman follows twenty‑somethings Clark Kent (Quaid), Lois Lane (Alice Lee, People We Meet On Vacation), Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid, Jury Duty), and the Kryptonian Kara Zor-El (Kiana Madeira, Malcom in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair), as they discover who they are—and what they can accomplish together—while chasing stories for The Daily Planet.

“This is the kind of show action‑animation fans tune into Toonami for,” said Michael Ouweleen, president of Adult Swim. “Season three of My Adventures with Superman goes harder, looks bigger, and packs the emotional punch that makes this series such a standout.”

The official Season Three synopsis is below:

Clark has truly become Superman and made peace with his Kryptonian origins – he’s ready to settle down! But Lois, who has finally become the Planet’s star reporter, is NOT. Jimmy has evolved from freelance photographer to celebrity journalist—but he’s still intimidated by the romantic attentions of the newly arrived Kara Zor‑El, who’s trying to find her place on Earth.

In our latest action, comedy, and romance-packed season, this found family will have to confront powerful new enemies that challenge Superman, threaten their future, and test the bonds holding them together. Can our heroes save their tomorrow–before it destroys today?
