Toonami Announcements from MomoCon

In cased you missed the Toonami panel at MomoCon, or didn’t watch the live stream through Adult Swim, the Toonami crew made a few announcements that revealed what’s ahead for the Saturday night block for the upcoming year.

1. Intruder 2 will be coming in October. It will run for five weeks, and a prequel comic will be coming out in September.

2. Show acquisitions: Michiko and Hatchin (Funimation) will premiere on June 20, 2015, replacing Inuyasha: Final Act after its run, and Akame ga Kill (Sentai) takes Kill La Kill’s place on August 8, 2015.

3. The Toonami mobile app will be coming out sometime in October. The app will feature the latest show schedule, an alarm clock, downloads of wallpapers, ringtones, and more. It will be available on both the iOS and the Android.

4. A remastered version of the show IGPX will be released.
