You may remember 2010′s Big Uber Network Sampling pilot vote. Sponsored by Burger King, Adult Swim gave you 8 pilots– Cheyenne Cinnamon (the eventual winner), Snake ‘n’ Bacon, Neon Knome (soon after retooled for Cartoon Network under the title The Problem Solverz), Southies, Duckworth, Soul Quest Overdrive, and Totally 4 Teens– and had you choose which one you liked best, promising to pick up the winner for a series. Cheyenne Cinnamon won, but somehow, never actually made it to series. We haven’t heard a peep from the network about it in a few years.
Fast forward to today. Wanna do this whole thing all over again?
Adult Swim has begun a new Pilot watch-n-vote series, sponsored by KFC. It begins now, and will run for the next three weeks, with two new pilots introduced each week. Watch ‘em all, vote before August 12th to see which two are finalists, and then vote after to find which will win the hearts of millions and get shown on TV (there doesn’t seem to be a promise of picking the show up this time, just a promise of a broadcast). These shows have their fate placed squarely in your hands. Be responsible.
The first two shows are Rolling With Dad and Coffin Dodgers. Head over to the Pilots page, watch both shows, and rate them, and in mid-August, we’ll see which two will compete to earn 11 minutes of television fame.
It’s all up to you. Get to work.
