Summer is all about free stuff. There are free concerts everywhere, people give out free water when it is too unbearably hot to actually be outdoors but you don’t care and you’re out there anyway. In, like, jeans.
People also give out a bunch of free music. Adult Swim’s doing it. Now, the band YACHT is getting in on the fun, with a friend: Eric Andre. You probably know him. He has that show on Adult Swim, The Eric Andre Show or whatever.
YACHT and Eric are here to brighten up your summertime by curing what ails you with Dr. MDMA, M.D., a mixtape that they claim will “make all the boys’ pee-pee holes sopping wet.” It clocks in at 48:06 and contains 13 tracks, and has vocal samples by Eric Andre interspersed that all have to do with ailments (pretty early in, during a transition from one song to another, he bursts in and exclaims in a voice that can be described as a true DJ set deep booming vocal sample style, “I have HPV. Most people do.”). It will heal you.
