Hey, remember that “Real Characters from the DC Universe” featuring characters you probably didn’t remember or even knew existed within DC? Well, Robot Chicken could be revealing more. They announced a sequel to their DC Comic Special rightfully calling it “Robot Chicken DC Comic Special II.” While we wait for more details on what’s to come from this sequel, we should definitely expect the usual Robot Chicken like antics like in the first special. And since this is DC of course our favorite characters will probably show up again, you know, Superman, Batman, Aquaman (We like Aquaman right?).
Although no official date has been released, expect it to come out some time next year. Involved in the sequels project are Stoopid Monkey’s Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, Warner Bros. Animation’s Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs Sam Register, and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. If you enjoyed the first special or just like Robot Chicken and/or DC Comics, I’m sure you’ll be waiting in anticipation for this upcoming special.
