It’s been over 2 years and 44 million plays since Adult Swim released the most addicting flash game ever upon the internet. Since then they’ve attempted to re-create their success by re-releasing several different variations of the game, including a Christmas Edition and a Heavy Metal Edition using music by Blind Guardian for those who thought Erasure wasn’t a brutal enough band to accompany the image of robotic unicorns exploding.

Well now they’re back with yet another edition of the game. And as it turns out, everything old is old again because this time it’s Retro Unicorn Attack, which re-imagines the game as if it were an old-school 8-bit video game complete with chip-tune version of ‘Always’ by Erasure. Is there anything new here? No, not really. But are you doing anything else with your day? You’re probably just slacking off at work. Just turn your computer monitor away from your boss and press z to make your dreams come true. Just don’t blame me when you look at the clock and realize you’ve been going at it for 2 hours.
