Now that the Star Wars Universe has been done to death, the question of “What’s next?” for Robot Chicken to tackle has finally been answered. The crew of Robot Chicken will be tackling a full-on DC Comics Special. Expect plenty of skits involving your favorite DC Universe Superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and more!

Speaking of Green Lantern, Nathan Fillion (of Firefly and Castle fame) posted the following on his Twitter yesterday:

Knowing Nathan Fillion’s track record of portraying superheroes on [adult swim], I expect he’ll be a better Green Lantern than Ryan Reynolds.

The special (tentatively titled RC/DC — obviously a takeoff on the band AC/DC — is slated for a Summer release.)
