Adult Swim just kicked off a new sweepstakes on their website, the theme of which combines the joy of the holiday season with the crushing reminder of our own mortality and inevitable mass deaths in the upcoming 2012 apocalypse, as foretold by the Myans.  The Jollypocalypse Sweepstakes.

Other than that adorable and topical theme, it’s pretty much like every other sweepstakes they’ve had. You have to be 18 or older (for legal reasons) and you can enter once per day with your email and password. It starts today (Dec. 22nd) and runs right into 2012 (until January 10th).

Prizes include the absurdly $200 Aqua Teen watch, the undeniably awesome octopus-adorned messenger bag, some rad sunglasses, a Childrens Hospital calendar I’m completely unfamiliar with that doesn’t seem to be available in the site store, and some matches that are apparently branded and have a picture of dinosaurs making out on the box.

There is no question that these prizes will be of use to you in the upcoming apocalypse, so scramble over people and punch them in the face (with sweepstakes entries) so you can get your greedy little hands on them. Because that’s what Christmas is about.
