“Today, Fox Home Entertainment informed retailers (all of them!) that on the same date, December 27th, high-def Blu-ray Disc releases of both Archer – Season 1 and Archer – Season 2 will be available, day and date with the DVD version of Season 2. Both Blu-format titles will cost $39.99 SRP each (in Canada it’s CA$49.99 SRP each). The previously-reported pricing DVD version of the second season is confirmed at $29.98 SRP in the USA, and CA$37.98 SRP in Canada.

The Blu-ray bonus material for Season 1 is carried over from the DVD release: the Original Un-Aired Pilot, an Unaired Network Promo, a “Making of Archer” Featurette, and Deleted Scenes. There will also be a bonus episode on board, the pilot for the FX series Wilfred. Video for those 10 episodes is in 1080p widescreen, sound is English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, and subtitles are in English, French and Spanish.

For Season 2 on both DVD and Blu-ray, you’ll get 2-disc sets with 13 episodes presented the same way as described above for the BD version, and for the DVD it will be anamorphic widescreen video, English 5.1 Dolby Digital audio, and subtitles in English, French and Spanish. Extras on each format will consist of “Archersaurus – Self Extinction”, “Ask Archer”, “Semper Fi”, “L’espoin Mal Fait”, and “ISIS infiltrates Comic-con”. We had early art for the DVD version this past summer, but below you’ll see finalized package art for Season 1 on Blu-ray, and for Blu-ray and DVD versions of Season 2.”
