Even as recent as last Thursday, AS President Michael Ouweleen said the show was “Coming soon… This year soon.” In addition, there were rumblings that “This year soon” may be November.

Well… those rumors were accurate…

Today, Adult Swim announced the 5-episode season 12 of ATHF will premiere at 11:30pm on Sunday, November 26th (with release to Max the following day). Fans rejoice and be merry with NEW jam-packed episodes featuring some awesome guest stars and even more interesting plots.

ADULT SWIM’S REVIVAL OF ICONIC ANIMATED COMEDY “AQUA TEEN HUNGER FORCE” ARRIVES SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 26
One of Adult Swim’s first original series, “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” will make its long-awaited return for a 12th season on Sunday, November 26 at 11:30pm ET/PT. From creators Dave Willis (“Squidbillies,” “Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell”) and Matt Maiellaro (“12 oz. Mouse”), new episodes of the quarter-hour comedy that follows the fast-food trio of Master Shake, Frylock and Meatwad will feature guest appearances from Emmy® winner Eric Bauza, Emmy winner Brian Cox, Dan Fogler, Emmy winner Maurice LaMarche, and Gary Anthony Williams.

Coming off last year’s original film “Aqua Teen Forever: Plantasm,” the new season marks the return of stars Carey Means (“The Brak Show”) as Frylock, Dana Snyder (“Squidbillies”) as Master Shake, and co-creator Willis as Meatwad and Carl. “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” Season 12 is written, produced, and directed by Maiellaro and Willis.

“Aqua Teen Hunger Force” is back to make television watchable again, and to fill your empty, content-starved lives with a magical season 12! Don’t call it a comeback! Even though by all accounts it seems to be just that. It’s a micro-itty-bitty-mini season, five brand new episodes of attention-whittling stupidity – but don’t worry, the laugh-per-episode density is far higher than anything else you willingly agree to place before your swollen, encrusted eyes. The new season picks up where we left off in 2015, as Master Shake, Frylock, and Meatwad have returned to solve all of life’s modern issues, and Carl returns because he can’t sell his crappy house because he lives next door to food. Look for your favorite trio of “detectives” to go head-to-head with A.I. appliances, join an apocalyptic fitness cult, and search for friendship through ancient Egyptian pyramid schemes. In the end, all problems shall be solved, and all brains shall be melted. Did Adult Swim mess with a winning formula? You better believe it! Master Shake now has two all-new facial expressions…“Bemused” and “Lips Pursed in Thought”! And Shake can close his hands now, as if to hold things! With the WGA potentially making a deal with the AMPTP (and a sign that it may lead to SAG-AFTRA following suit), things are in a bit of flux and may come to fruition sooner than later. Until then, AS has announced (tentative?) plans to screen First Looks at the upcoming season Aqua Teen Hunger Force, new Toonami series Uzumaki, and the well-awaited season two of Smiling Friends. In addition, footage from the upcoming season seven of Rick & Morty will be screened. This panel is on Thursday, 10/12 at 5:45pm, and requires first come, first served registration… therefore if you plan on attending, you may want to do so like yesterday.

In addition to the standard as well as the usual Toonami-type panels, Titmouse Inc. (f/ Chris Prynoski & Co.) will be having a panel on Saturday, 10/14 @ 1:30pm, talking all things animation – no registration needed, just your NYCC badge.

A couple of days ago, Matt unveiled cover art for his upcoming EP (that’s right folks, a full blown one) titled [after hours]. The EP features not just ATHF, but four of the original five Adult Swim shows (Sealab 2021, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, and the Brak Show) as well as the Boondocks, all covered. Games in the Adult Swim Universe are few and far between these days. Adult Swim Games seemingly shuttered, with only a select few games left advertised on their website (I’m very attached to my iOS copy of Robot Unicorn Attack 2 and will never delete it – and hopefully will never have to).

Of course, with the advent of games with editors baked in, you can essentially make your own world(s). That being said, the month of August on PlayStation Network subscribers can download the game Dreams for free.

According to Wikipedia, “In Dreams, players control an “imp”, which is used to interact with the game’s world and interface like a mouse cursor, create new items and characters, and manipulate objects by grabbing and pulling them. Players can move the imp with one of two control schemes: moving and rotating the DualShock 4 or PlayStation Move controllers, or using the left and right analog sticks. The imp is customizable, and can possess characters featured in a dream, allowing players to take direct control of these characters.”

The game seems to be on par with Little Big Planet, wherein you can design your own characters and levels. I haven’t personally had a PlayStation in about a year or so, but LBP was fun for the creative ways users would make worlds from different movies (loved the various Ghostbusters and Back to the Future ones).

So you’re probably asking why you would want to download Dreams? In particular? Among all the games in Dreams, you can download Aqua Teen Hunger Force: The (Very Unofficial) Game, designed by ATHF fan, Kirksplosion:

As you can see by the trailer, the designs are awesome (honestly, puts Zombie Ninja Pro-Am to shame) and includes not only the Aqua Teens, but some of the monsters like Rabbot and Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future.

You can download the Dreams game here (free this month for PSN users or $20 for non PSN) and Kirksplosions (Very Unofficial) game right here.
