With the season changing, students going back to school, and the madness that is Dragon Con over and done with, I figured I’d drop some little nuggets of news on the Swim goings on…
Found this one, honestly, by TeamCoco.com graciously (or unknowingly… hard to tell these days. People still confuse us with Swim proper), linking us to the page: Patton Oswalt from “The Heart, She Holler,” will be appearing next Monday night (9/9) on Conan (11pm, TBS). Check out all the info here.
We also just learned that Swim had a screening of “The Heart, She Holler,” over in Brooklyn, at new trendy hip theater, “The Nitehawk.” You may recall, we attended the screening of “Venture Bros.” out there back in May (I also won a bit of production art, that I had Doc and Jackson sign). You may have missed the special screening last night where 5 new eps were screened (as well as a Q&A afterwards with Patton, Amy Sedaris, and EPs John Lee and Alyson Levy from PFFR)… HOWEVER, Nitehawk graciously added two more showings tonight (9/6) and tomorrow (9/7) at midnight, where you also have a chance to win “an [adult swim] prize pack!”
Personally, I’m tapped after Dragon Con. If you end up going, feel free to tweet us your pics or thoughts about the screening. We’ll make sure to keep a close eye on Nitehawk from now on… you never know what show they may screen next (please screen some Superjail, Nitehawk… KTHX)!
