Hi guys! Re the cover of the book….

Just to clear up – I did ask Ramon to add text… but was hoping it would be on a layer that could be removed. And the thing about the text being illegible was that the small S in sister was a bit over-elaborate and the W looked like an M and the E looked like an E. (Seriously, when printed to paperback size all I kept getting asked was “Whats Sister of the Mole?”)

– Also, the reason (sadly- I must admit) that I didn’t go with that cover in the end was that a bookstore owner told me the cover made it hard to market- saying it would be “…an amazing cover for a graphic novel (which I offered Ramon the option of coming in on!) ;’ ) ) and if not that then a YA horror… which having read it. it obviously isn’t.”

So, sadly, I changed it… cos the cover above (well, the version Ramon re-worked) is actually the cover I prefer. And Ramon did all the work for nada… I’d be lucky to be able to afford his pencil sketches these days!
